Everything You Need To Know About Stackable Storage Containers

Storage and transport of items that you use regularly can save a considerable amount of storage space and transport space if they are kept in stackable storage containers. Many storage containers today are manufactured in Euro size which is 600mm x 400mm. These fit snugly on both Euro and UK pallets, as well as wheeled dollies, conveyors, and shelving.

The standard Euro size stackable storage containers fit in five columns on a UK pallet of 1200mm x 1000mm and in four columns on the Euro pallet which is 1200mm x 800mm. Many manufacturers also produce storage containers in a half Euro size of 400mm x 300mm, and it is even possible to get quarter size containers of 300mm x 200mm. In addition, some manufacturers also make containers in a size of 800mm x 600mm.

The Fries Conveyor Rack System

The Fries Rack System contains a large number of conveyor racks for glassware which come with a number of different choices. The Clixrack 500 glass rack is designed with a series of Clix extenders so that the user can extend the height of the rack to fit different glass heights without having to use different racks for them. This saves a lot of expense that would otherwise go on buying different size conveyor racks and of course it saves on storage space as well.

The Fries Clixracks can be adjusted to fit glasses from 73mm in height up to 260mm and no tools are needed to adjust them. The open rack design ensures that the water can easily reach all parts of the glasses and that they can dry fully as well. All of the glasses are completely protected within the rack and the racks can easily be stacked to save on transport and storage space. In addition, at the customer’s request, the racks can be fitted with tilting clips which allows the water to drain fully from the bottom of each glass.

The Fries conveyor racks are also available in seven different colours so that it is easy to place the right glasses in the right racks and also easy to identify which glasses are in each rack when needing to be selected from storage for use. Another method of identification is plastic coding clips in the same colours which can be clipped on to the racks. In addition, you can design and label the racks by hot foil embossing lettering or your company logo.

The design of the racks uses patented washing technology which ensures that the water is evenly targeted at the problem areas which are the rims of the glasses and those in the first and last rows. In addition, the Fries rack system can be fitted with different inserts to hold anywhere between 16 glasses and 44 glasses depending on the glass width.

The racks have a duplex bottom with the upper one holding the glasses, and the lower one ensuring there is no sagging and no damage to the glasses from transport hooks.
