Some Of The Uses Of Stackable Plastic Boxes

Euro stackable plastic boxes are suitable for nearly all manufacturing and service industries. They are ideal for many food preparation and pharmaceutical products because they have smooth sides and are very easy indeed to clean. Since they are made of plastic, no microbes or bacteria can get into the surface. Non-food manufacturers will often use the larger stackable plastic boxes for products, while the smaller ones are used for small parts and fixings.

Service sector uses include outside catering, engineering service kits, police scene of crime use, hospital sterile services, food delivery to takeaways, greengrocery displays, and many more uses. Euro size containers are available with solid sides or ventilated sides, the ventilated ones often being chosen because it is easy to see what is inside each box. Furthermore, when used for food storage in refrigerators or freezers, they allow the cold air to distribute evenly throughout the container and the contents to chill down to the desired temperature faster.

The Fries Rack Glass Rack System

If you are looking for a bar glass rack there are many different choices, a lot of them contained within the Fries Rack System. Fries is an Austrian company that is a specialist in the manufacture of boxes and containers for the catering industry and has designed a wide range of different containers for various purposes, including storage, washing and drying, and transport.

One bar glass rack system that Fries has produced is the Clixrack 500 glass rack which is simple to put together without any tools, and furthermore, is adjustable. It is available with a range of extenders which simply clip into place and this means that you can easily extend the height of the racks to fit any sort of glass that you are using.

The bar glass rack by Fries has what they term Efficient Wash Design and is built so that the water can get to every glass in the rack and ensures that it is perfectly cleaned, including removal of lipstick. There is also the ability to tilt the glasses at an angle which means that they are easier to dry because the water does not collect in the base of the glass.

The glass rack is, as you might expect, stackable, and is also very lightweight which makes for easy carrying and handling. Because of the very open design it is a simple matter to see which glasses are in which racks, but Fries goes a stage further than that by providing the racks in a choice of seven different frame colours which makes it easy to see into which rack any particular type of glasses should be placed. You can also have colour coded clips in different colours that can be attached to the racks and offer an alternative method of identification.

Not only can you alter your glass racks for glasses of eleven different heights from 73mm to 260mm, but you can also alter them for width by using different compartments within each rack, allowing for anything from 16 glasses in one compartment up to as many as 44 glasses in the same area.

Fries Bar Glass Racks Have Many Benefits

In the catering industry there is a lot of glassware used – especially in pubs and bars, but also in restaurants, cafes, hotels, and any other venue that has a bar, such as a theatre, private men’s club, and so on. Unfortunately, one thing that all glassware has in common is that it is breakable – some more so than others. For instance, the traditional dimpled pint and half pint beer mugs are fairly solid, and can stand a bit of rough handling, but you won’t get away with that with a champagne flute.

Furthermore, in the outside catering industry all this glassware has to be transported from one venue to another and it has to arrive in one piece. This is why the Fries Rack System provides a bar glass rack that can be used for both washing and transporting glassware.

There Is No Point In Buying Cheap Storage Boxes

If you are looking for storage boxes for your business – and most businesses do – there is no point in buying cheap ones. They are not going to last. Storage boxes get thrown about, stored on top of one another, filled with all sorts of things such as motor parts which may be oily and greasy, and a whole lot more things can happen to them as well. The answer is that you should look for extra strong storage boxes.

You can buy extra strong storage boxes that are built to take punishment and still be useable years down the line. These boxes are made of a rigid plastic and many of them are available in Euro sizes. That means that they will be compatible with both standard sized Euro pallets and UK pallets which makes it a lot easier to move them about.

In the outside catering industry, storage boxes are constantly being transported to a venue, the contents taken out and used, then put back and taken back to the depot. In fact, they spend most of their lives being shunted about from one place to another. If you are moving a box full of cutlery it is going to be heavy, so it has to withstand the weight of a lot of cutlery and still keep smiling.

Dinner plates can be heavy as well, and of course they need to be protected from damage which is another reason for using extra strong storage boxes.

Then there is glassware. You need to be able to transport your glassware between venues secure in the knowledge that it won’t get damaged: you can’t repair broken glassware. Fortunately, you can get inserts for these strong storage boxes in a wide variety of designs and sizes so that whatever type of glasses you are transporting, each one will be safe in its’ own separate compartment.

For breakable items such as dinnerware and glassware it is best to use storage boxes with lids. This will keep everything safe and secure when you stack the boxes one on top of another.

Everything You Need To Know About Stackable Storage Containers

Storage and transport of items that you use regularly can save a considerable amount of storage space and transport space if they are kept in stackable storage containers. Many storage containers today are manufactured in Euro size which is 600mm x 400mm. These fit snugly on both Euro and UK pallets, as well as wheeled dollies, conveyors, and shelving.

The standard Euro size stackable storage containers fit in five columns on a UK pallet of 1200mm x 1000mm and in four columns on the Euro pallet which is 1200mm x 800mm. Many manufacturers also produce storage containers in a half Euro size of 400mm x 300mm, and it is even possible to get quarter size containers of 300mm x 200mm. In addition, some manufacturers also make containers in a size of 800mm x 600mm.
